All payments on EzChargez are processed securely within the app at the time you confirm a booking — there's no cash, no separate invoicing, and no need to exchange payment details directly with a host.

Accepted payment methods

You can add or update your payment method any time from the Account → Payment Methods screen. Your card details are never shared with hosts — they only ever see the amount paid, not your payment information.

When you're charged

Your saved payment method is charged automatically the moment you confirm a booking, based on the estimated cost shown on the confirmation screen. If your actual session duration differs from what you booked (for example, if you end a session early), any applicable adjustment is handled automatically and reflected in your final receipt.

Security

All payment data is encrypted end-to-end and processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider — the same industry-standard security used by major banks and e-commerce platforms. EzChargez itself never stores your raw card number.

Every completed session generates an itemized receipt automatically, viewable any time from your Session History. If you ever spot a charge you don't recognize or believe is incorrect, you can dispute it directly through Contact Support or read more about how refunds work.

Managing multiple cards

You can save more than one payment method and choose which one to use as your default from the Payment Methods screen. This is useful if you want to keep personal and business charging expenses separate, or if you simply want a backup on file in case your primary card needs to be replaced.

Failed payments

If a payment fails at booking — for example, due to an expired card — you'll be prompted immediately to update your payment method before the reservation can be confirmed. No booking is finalized until payment successfully processes, so you'll never end up with an unpaid reservation on a host's calendar.
