EzChargez is available across the United States and the host network is growing every week. Coverage depends on how many hosts have signed up in your specific area, so availability can vary from dense urban neighborhoods to more rural zip codes.
How to check coverage near you
- Open the app and tap the Map tab.
- Allow location access, or manually enter your zip code or address in the search bar.
- The map will populate with pins for every verified host currently accepting bookings within your search radius.
- You can widen or narrow the radius using the filter panel if you're willing to drive a bit farther.
What if there aren't any hosts nearby yet?
If your map comes up empty, you have two good options:
- Check back regularly. New hosts are onboarding constantly, especially in suburban and residential areas with driveway or garage charging.
- Become the first host in your neighborhood. If you already own a home charger, listing it takes just a few minutes and helps kickstart the network in your area — see our article on how to become a host.
Expansion plans
EzChargez prioritizes expansion into areas with high EV adoption but limited public fast-charging infrastructure — commuter suburbs, multi-unit housing districts, and regions along popular road-trip corridors. We're actively working with local host communities to fill in coverage gaps, so if your area isn't well covered today, that's likely to change soon.
Traveling outside your usual area
Coverage is also worth checking before a road trip, not just around your home. If you're planning a longer drive, search your destination and any planned stops in advance so you can line up hosts along your route rather than discovering gaps once you're already on the road. Saving a few backup hosts near your destination is a good habit if you're heading somewhere with lighter coverage.
