Yes — ratings and reviews are a core part of what keeps the EzChargez community trustworthy, and both drivers and hosts are invited to leave feedback after every completed session.
How the review process works
- After a session is marked complete, you'll receive a prompt to rate your experience.
- Rate the session from 1 to 5 stars.
- Optionally, add a written review describing your experience in more detail.
- Submit — your review becomes visible on the other party's public profile.
What makes a helpful review
- Specific details — was the charger easy to access? Did it charge at the expected speed? Was communication clear?
- Honest, constructive feedback rather than only extremes
- Noting anything future drivers or hosts should know before booking
Why this matters for the community
Public ratings help drivers choose reliable hosts and help hosts understand what's working well (or not) in their listing. A strong rating history also makes a host's listing more attractive in search results, and a driver's positive history can smooth over communication with new hosts.
Reviews are also one of the signals our trust & safety team uses to monitor listings — consistently low ratings can trigger a manual review, which helps keep quality high across the platform. If an experience was bad enough to warrant more than a low rating, consider also using the report a problem feature.
Can you edit a review later?
If your opinion changes after submitting a review — for example, a host resolves an issue you initially had — you can update your rating and written review from your Session History for a limited window after submission. This keeps the public feedback accurate and fair to both sides.
Reviews are two-way
Hosts rate drivers too, not just the other way around. A driver's rating history is visible to hosts when reviewing an incoming booking request, so being a considerate, on-time guest also helps you build a reputation that makes hosts more comfortable accepting your future reservations.
