If you ever have a serious issue with a host or driver — beyond something a simple rating captures — EzChargez makes it easy to report the problem directly to our trust & safety team.
How to submit a report
- Go to the other user's profile page, or open the Support tab.
- Select "Report a Problem."
- Choose the category that best describes the issue (e.g., safety concern, property damage, inappropriate behavior, no-show).
- Describe what happened in as much detail as possible, and attach photos if relevant.
- Submit the report.
What happens after you report
Our trust & safety team reviews every report individually, typically within 24 hours. Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, this review may include reaching out to the other party, examining session details and message history, and consulting prior reports if there's a pattern.
Possible outcomes
We take all reports seriously and act proportionately to what's found, which can include:
- A formal warning to the reported user
- Temporary suspension of their account or listing
- Permanent removal from the platform for serious or repeated violations
If your report is related to a specific session that also needs a refund or billing correction, you can submit that separately — see how refunds work. For urgent, in-the-moment issues, see what to do if there's a problem during a session.
Anonymity during review
When our trust & safety team investigates a report, they handle the details discreetly and won't disclose who filed it beyond what's necessary to resolve the situation fairly. This is designed to make it easier for users to report genuine concerns without worrying about awkward confrontations afterward.
False or malicious reports
Because reports can lead to real consequences for the person being reported, we ask users to only file a report when there's a genuine concern. Reports found to be intentionally false or malicious are also reviewed and can affect the reporting account's own standing on the platform.
