An account lock is a security feature, not a punishment — here's what triggers it and how to get back in quickly.

Why accounts get locked

EzChargez temporarily locks an account after 5 incorrect sign-in attempts within a short window. This protects your account from anyone trying to guess your password.

How to unlock it

Resetting your password is almost always the faster option if you need access right now.

Locked for a different reason

In rarer cases, an account may be restricted for a trust & safety reason — such as a policy violation, a payment dispute, or unusual account activity — rather than failed sign-in attempts. If this is the case, the app will show a specific message explaining why, rather than the standard "too many attempts" lock screen.

If you believe a policy-related restriction was applied in error, contact support to appeal or request more details. Our team reviews these cases individually.

Preventing future lockouts

Using a password manager to store your EzChargez password accurately is the easiest way to avoid repeated failed attempts. Enabling Sign in with Apple or Google is another good option since it skips password entry entirely.
